The objective of the sports mobilities have provided participants on vocational pathways with an opportunity to learn new European training methods, techniques and philosophies whilst living and working as a professional during the camp. This has included innovations in physiological development, dietetics, coaching delivery, tactical analysis, cultural exchange, and social inclusion. Additionally, regular training sessions and friendly games against local opposition, language lessons, extra sports, and cultural activities such as day trips have formed part of the experiences. This, we feel, adds value, and will address predefined sports performance targets set before the visit and have been used to improve skills acquisition and player development. Participants have also taken part in sessions based on lifestyle/nutrition, dealing with the media and pre- and post-match recovery.
